But once you had lunch from this place its almost sure that you will want to come back to this place again.
Now don’t get any wrong ideas, what was said about the restaurant goes for the meals they serve here too. Its just simple meals and doesn’t have any gimmicks to make it look attractive. They serve tasty meals with an avail, another side dish, chammandhi, achar and pappadam, along with various ozhichu curries. Different types of fish fries make a nice add on dish with their meals.
Excellent taste and low price makes ayala (Mackerel) fry one such variety with good demand from this place. Crisply fried, this dish uses masala that has a very neutral taste that goes well with the meals. If you can afford more, then Neymeen or seer fish fry makes an excellent choice from their fish varieties. This average spicy dish has very smooth flesh and is served with lots of onion.
Kappa and meen curry is a combination you can try if you are not in the mood for meals at lunch. Less spicy fish curry prepared with adding coconut milk felt absolutely delightful with mashed tapioca. The fish varieties they serve change according to availability in market and they avoid the dish altogether if they don’t get fresh fish for that day to ensure quality.
They have a rectangular shaped single dining area furnished with steel chairs and tables with granite tops and have cleanliness level on par with any other ordinary restaurant you have visited. Although they are open from morning till night, afternoon lunch hours are their rush hours.
